Outwood Academy Riverside are delighted to be joining the MiSST from September 2022, with 180 year 7 students getting the opportunity to learn and play the trumpet or clarinet.
Outwood Academy Riverside opened in September 2020. This is the first Free School within Outwood Grange Academies Trust (OGAT) and joins the Northern region. We are a welcoming and supportive academy, with a relentless determination to provide the very best education for every child. We place children at the centre of everything we do, with a focus on creating a culture of success and a positive climate for learning.
Music already plays an important part in Outwood Academy Riverside’s curriculum and vision, with around 60% of all students receiving a range of instrumental lessons. With the opportunity to start offering the Andrew Lloyd Webber programme, Outwood Academy Riverside are looking forward to expanding the music department and the opportunities within it.
